For over 35 years Sandra Meigs has created vivid, immersive, and enigmatic paintings that combine complex narratives with comic elements.

She has lived and worked in Canada since 1973, and taught at the University of Victoria for over 20 years.

In 2015 she was honoured with a Governor-General’s Award for Visual Arts.
